Merry Christmas

Peace and goodwill to you (and your computer systems)! Vista Interactive Technical Support is available as normal throughout the holiday season. You can still contact us via the usual methods and expect normal response times. For emergency or urgent server problems please send an SMS to +90 533 495 9737.

Office closed

This week the Vista Interactive office is closed for the Turkish public holiday: Kurban Bayramı . You can still contact us via the usual methods, but we may be slower in responding. For emergency or urgent server problems, please send an SMS to +90 533 495 9737. İyi Bayramlar.

Server upgraded

We have increased the capacity of our main server. Customers using that server do not need to make any changes and there is no down time. They may notice an improvement in speed.

Updating TYPO3 websites to latest version

We are in the process of updating all of our TYPO3 websites to the latest version. This is to fix potential security problems and keep the core TYPO3 software up to date. You might notice some new features and a change in the TYPO3 Back End interface, but the Front End (what your website visitors see) should be the same. If you experience any problems or if you need training to use the new features, please contact us. Also, please let us know if you need to add more people as editors, update the design of your website, or if you want to add new features.

Scheduled server maintenance on Tuesday 29 June 2010

One of our service providers will be upgrading network equipment between the hours of 7:00am and 9:59 am ( EEST ) on Tuesday 29 June 2010. During this time some packet loss (slow or broken connections) may occur. If you experience any problems during this time, please wait a few minutes and try again.

Some Google services blocked in Turkey

Turkish ISPs are blocking access to many Google services including the Vista Interactive Support blog (hosted on Google's Blogger service) due to an ongoing issue with a ban on YouTube. CyberLaw has several articles about this situation and the legal action being taken. It is possible to bypass the blockage by using a proxy server or secure tunnel.
