Sites updated to latest TYPO3 versions

To apply bug fixes to the TYPO3 core software of websites we host for our customers, we have recently updated these sites to use the latest stable versions of TYPO3: 4.5.36 (old LTS), 4.7.19 or 6.1.11.

TYPO3 CMS 6.2.5 LTS is now the latest long term support version of TYPO3 and we recommend that customers contact us to upgrade to this version for long term security and new features.

TYPO3 CMS Versions at a Glance

6.2 LTS	The current stable LTS release (for new and existing projects) The latest version with Long Term Support (LTS). It will get full support until March 2017.
6.1	The old stable release (for existing projects) This version is the old stable release. It is recommended for existing projects and will get full support (bug fixes and security fixes) until October 2013, but will get security fixes and important bugfixes until October 2014.
4.7	Another old stable release (for existing projects) This version is the old stable release. It is recommended for existing projects and will get full support (bug fixes and security fixes) until October 2013, but will get security fixes until October 2014.
4.5 LTS	The old stable LTS release (for old projects) This version is the Long Term Support release. It can be used for existing projects, and will get full support (bug fixes and security fixes) until April 2014. Important and security related fixes will be provided until March 2015.
