Some sites updated to latest TYPO3 CMS (LTS) version

We have updated the TYPO3 core software of the websites we host for some of our customers from TYPO3 CMS 6.2.15 (LTS) to TYPO3 CMS 6.2.17 (LTS). This is a update contains security (6.2.16) and bug fixes.

TYPO3 CMS 6.2.17 (LTS) is now the latest long term support version of TYPO3 for existing projects and we recommend that customers contact us to upgrade to this version for long term security and new features. Customers who are using TYPO3 CMS 4.5, TYPO3 CMS 4.7 or TYPO3 CMS 6.1 versions are especially encouraged to upgrade to TYPO3 CMS 6.2.17 (LTS) as soon as possible.

Customers looking for new TYPO3 features should upgrade to TYPO3 7.6.2 LTS. This requires an upgrade to TYPO3 6.2.17 LTS first.  

TYPO3 CMS Versions at a Glance

8 LTS	The upcoming LTS release, scheduled for April 2017. Stay tuned for more information. Once released, it will get 3 years of important and security fixes from the day of the release. Until the final release several sprint releases will be published (8.0, 8.1, 8.2, ...) in between. Adopters are encouraged to use each of those release on the way to TYPO3 CMS 8 LTS.
7 LTS	The current stable LTS release (for all new projects) The latest version with Long Term Support (LTS). It will have full support until April 2017 and security bugfixes until November 2018.
6.2 LTS	The current stable LTS release (for existing projects) The old version with Long Term Support (LTS). It will have maintenance and security-related bugfixes until March 2017.
