We have updated the TYPO3 core software of the websites we host for some of our customers from TYPO3 CMS 6.2.12 (LTS) to TYPO3 CMS 6.2.13 (LTS) . This is a routine bug fix update. TYPO3 CMS 6.2.13 (LTS) is now the latest long term support version of TYPO3 and we recommend that customers contact us to upgrade to this version for long term security and new features. Customers who are using TYPO3 CMS 4.5, TYPO3 CMS 4.7 or TYPO3 CMS 6.1 versions are especially encouraged to upgrade to TYPO3 CMS 6.2.13 (LTS) as soon as possible. Over the weekend we increased security for some services on our main server. FTP users should now use SFTP for connecting to the server. If you experience problems with FTP transfers or would like to know more about this, please contact us .

Some of our customers are still using TYPO3 CMS 4.5 to power their websites. This was the first TYPO3 version with Long-Term-Support, but this is scheduled to end on 31 March 2015.  All customers should have upgraded to use the latest version TYPO3 CMS 6.2 LTS, but to accommodate installations that cannot upgrade, the TYPO3 association has offered to continue support of TYPO3 CMS 4.5 for another year. However for most customers the cost of this support would be greater than their upgrade cost.
